Heuchera 'Black Beauty' ®

This is a fabulous plant with its very dark, glossy, ruffled leaves. The leaves are somewhat upright catching the sun from any direction. From any angle this plant is strikingly backlit in ruby red. A ruffled ’Obsidian’!

Size:
Spreads 50 cm/ 20 inches, foliage height 25 cm/ 10 inches, flower height 60 cm/ 24 inches.

Location:
Sun to part shade. Great in the landscape as a mass or in a container for accent. Looks good year round and is easy to grow.

Culture:
Moist but well-drained soil mix low in peat. pH: 6.0-7.0. Moderate to light fertility. Dormancy not required for growth. Vernalization of 12 weeks is required for optimum flowering. Dry moderately between waterings. Finish Time to 4”/ 9 cm: 4-6 weeks.
