Hosta 'Wide Brim'

The deep blue-green leaves with an irregular cream edge are cup shaped and crinkled. The flowers, which appear in later summer, tilt upwards and can reach 36 inches (90 cm).

Bloom season:
In mid summer with bell shaped pale lavender flowers.

Foliage: 40 cm high by 80 cm wide.

Location:
This Hosta can resist the sun but prefers to stay in the light shade. Hostas are the epitome of low-maintenance gardening. They prefer a humus rich soil that will provide enough moisture in the dry months. The variegated types will do better in partial shade rather than dense shade.
