Majestic silvery lungwort!

Nice silvery grey leaves. Attractive even without flowers.

In early spring with typical short sprays of pink-violet flowers.

Light shade.

All round tough plant suitable for problem areas; Suitable for container growing; Architectural plant – ideal as a ‘stand out’ plant; Tolerates heavy clay soils; Suitable for planting in full shade.

Will not tolerate exposed, cold or hot and sunny locations.

Preferring a fertile humus rich soil - best plant with lots of compost. Lungwort is a natural woodland floor plant, requires partial to full shade so avoid planting in very sunny dry areas. Good for under planting around trees and shrubs.
